INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (February 21, 2018) — Codelicious, a Carmel-based startup providing comprehensive, teacher-led coding curriculum, has been nominated for their first TechPoint Mira Award in the category of ‘Best Tech Service.’
TechPoint, the growth initiative for Indiana’s technology ecosystem, announced their Mira nominees on Tuesday, February 20th. These nominees represent ‘The Best of Tech in Indiana.’ The Mira Awards ceremony will be held on April 28, 2018.
“It is both exciting and humbling to be part of such a strong field of nominees for 'Best Tech Service’,” Codelicious CEO and Co-Founder Christine McDonnell shared. “The depth of talent represented in this category - and throughout the entire list of nominees - is a reflection of the strong tech and entrepreneurial ecosystem in the state of Indiana.”
In January of 2017, Codelicious launched School Solutions: a curriculum-as-a- service product that provides comprehensive, teacher-led coding curriculum, designed for elementary and middle school students that engages students at their level of skill and interest.
Codelicious will continue to support computer science and coding learning opportunities through partnerships with the IWiT Championship, Girl Scouts of Central Indiana, Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation summer camps, and other tech and community organizations.
